ISYS7 Installation Schematic Schematic diagram showing a 20 Point IRS System using a
7-input 20-way. The Range has just been increased with the additions of a 16 and 24-way switch. There is also the introduction of a 7-input active two way splitter which now enables the system to feed up to 48 points ideal for Low Rise developments.

ISYS7 Stand Alone IRS Multiswitches This area covers products that can be used as stand-alone multiswitches which means that all aerial feeds go in to the multiswitch and then the signals are combined together prior to being distribute to each individual apartment, either with one or two cable feeds to allow for SKY+. These products are mains powered and will also require earth bonding see page 11 for further details.

ISYS5 Integrated Reception Multiswitches... This area covers products that can be used as stand-alone multiswitches which means that all aerial feeds go in to the multiswitch and then the signals are combined together prior to being distribute to each individual apartment, either with one or two cable feeds to allow for SKY+.
These products are mains powered and will also require earth bonding see page 11 for further details.

Cascade Multiswitches This range of products utilise a single landlords mains supply at the Headend location, this where the main distribution amplifier will be situated.
The system comprises of a series of taps which reduce the combined signals down to the required input level for the multiswitches this prevent overloading them. This system configuration can feed a maximum of 10 switches or 200 points.

Cascade Taps and Splitter Push on Cascade taps designed to be used with either the new cascade system or with our conventional 5 input standalone multiswitches
|
ISYS5 Trunk Amplifiers and Accessories... Antiference offer a choice of 4 amplifiers in their range, 2 for Terrestrial distribution only (FM, DAB and UHF) and 2 for Satellite and Terrestrial. For further details see page 10 of the catalogue or on this link)

EARTHlink It is a require by law that all amplifiers and multiswitches are Earth Bonded, this means that All inputs and outputs are cross bonded together and connected to the buildings PME. This prevents any harmful voltages from being present on the system as it will automatically shut down the MCB which is supplying the circuit. For full details on Electrical Safety refer to IEEE 16th Wiring regulations or CAI Codes of Practice.
